Go to hydrogenaudio.org and download "easylame14en.exe", this is a
front-end to LAME and uses VBR presets of a high standard. I've been
very happy using this - otherwise go with Ogg Vorbis, which may well
give you superior audio quality but is not as well supported by 3rd
party players etc.
