Perfume Tree was really really great. I'll have to seek out some of the Veloce tunes.

If that's the same Veloce I'm thinking of, they're from Vancouver and used
to be a swirly-shoegazer-ethereal group called Perfume Tree. They started
to lean more towards eletronics on their last couple of albums, and then
changed their name a couple of years back.
I've only heard one album under the Veloce name (the first, I think), but
it was quite good. They've got a website at
