I hadn't had much luck finding Martin Horntveth's stuff here in New York, so I went and looked around on soulseek. What I found was a track of his on a remix album of a band called Ulver alongside other remixers such as Fennesz, Neotropic, Pita, and Bogdan. Its called Ulver: First Decade in the Machines and its a pretty damn good collection of remixes. Good enough to pique my interest in Ulver themselves who turn out to be a Scandinavian metal band with all sorts of exciting non-metal tendencies. I'd kind of like to see more compilations of IDM artists remixing heavier non-IDM artists. Does anyone remember that Foetus remix album? That shit was awesome.
Yea... and I couldn't figure out that singleunit website either, but I'm definitely curious to hear it.
