over the years i've seen tons of ppl try to clone that sound and nobody
even comes close
as far as i can tell there's no gimmick or trick that makes all the basic
channel/maurizio/substance/etc stuff so amazing, no magic piece of gear or
anything, just soul
jeff pointed out to me that they're also 25 years old too which, is even
more amazing since they weren't build off of any previous work, instead
breaking totally new ground
