October 1990 CMJ conference, Hotel Vista, WTC NYC:
-Panel discussion w/ KRS-1 (probly something political, cant quite
remember)
-GPO, short grey hair and wearing a grey Priest's shirt/outfit, stands
up from the audience during the middle of the panel discussion, and
asks,
"What I want to know is, how many of you have done acid?"
man it was so weird. His remark was completely out of context. Acid
house was on it's way down and the chinstrokers in the room kinda put
their hands over their eyes, like "oh boy, please don't do this to
yourself, buddy"
such a sad first in-the-flesh GPO intro for me! But I still love that
rekkid w/ the godstar song on it.
Ill go back & jerk off now.
