This is totally standard language. You don't like it, don't do it. Same thing applies to all the remix contests at acidplanet.com. If you are contracted to do a remix for a label, it's work for hire -- you don't derive any continuing royalties. You sign a similar contract in that case. And if the label doesn't like the remix, then you still get paid but no one ever hears it. The only thing that sucks about this is that all the remixes that don't make the cut are buried -- they aren't releasable by anybody else. But there really isn't anything to do about it -- if an artist says 'hey lets have fans do remixes' then an agreement like this is what gets pooped out of the label's lawyers.
