K.K. Null, "Inorganic Orgasm" got a tremendous amount of complaints for me.
They asked me to stop playing it because it sounded too much like a disk
drive undergoing a head crash. The sound made them panic. It is not very
much an IDM recording though.
I suppose we should mention Lesser's Gearhound which is IDM *and* noise in
one
convenient package!!! I was impressed by Gearhound because it was very good
at the
noise game, which is to bury very conventional musical structure in what
seems an incoherent jumble of grating sounds. Good stuff!!
