Depending on what you define as d'n'b, I think a lot of the old-school hardcore would be classed as d'n'b.... So you're looking at people like 2 Bad Mice, who's back catalogue in 92-93 was already huge, I'm sure they pushed hardcore towards the more Jungly/DNB sound, and helpd define new genres for breakbeat based music... I'd love to hear what other people say on this one...
