TONIGHT

By presenting these film works by experimental
musicians in a new context we hope to stimulate
interest in travel and tourism and facilitate an
exchange of ideas and information.
"When it comes to sound, the proletariat must use all
the means at it's disposal. Never the line of least
resistance, but the line of maximum resistance...that
of complex interaction of sound and image" Diga Vertov

PROGRAM
PART ONE
DISKONO & ROB KENNEDY (UK)
"You're Not Blank" (2'15) 2002. Commissioned by
Shaddaz & The Modern Institute.
Q. Please tell me the history about the Dils from the
beginning to the end?
A. We formed the Dils in 1977 in Carlsbad, California.
Moved to San Francisco to make punk rock revolution.
Released three singles, "I Hate the Rich/You're Not
Blank", "Class War/Mr. Big", "Sound of the Rain/It's
Not Worth It/Red Rockers Rule". Broke up in 1980.
Q. What does punk mean to day for you and what did it
meant back in the old days?
A. It means attitude and revolution, not necessarily
form.
Q. Why did you come together and play punk?
A. It was the only thing for an honourable man to do
in 1977.

Restless self-reflection. The skin as a battle field.
Only at the last possible moment, after an outpouring
of shots of possible plots which do not avoid blood,
sweat and tears, the complete picture is shown and the
filmmaker clarifies the situation.
The pressure is off. We can breath easily again.
