i think those are excellent points. if we of the idm list get too
genre-bound, then we'll be just like the junglist lists--unable to take an
interest in anything outside our little world.
personally, as i mentioned before, it's coldplay's interesting uses of
harmonic effects in their chords that interests me--a phenomenon that can
easily be related to idm composition.
