i believ it is hyperreal setup that archived
messages are kept in chunks of
like 1-3 megs in
txt format
My opinion is that the "news
group" format like
you said google groups it is
called now is much
better and it is searchable.
There are groups on
google AND on yahoo that
deal
with music of this kind-
the best probably alt.autechre ,
you can find
them easily, -
but hyperreal archives are not
searchable and
not
easy navigated.
Would be nice if someone can
convince hyperreal
guys to switch to one of the
google groups.

There is nothing better working
than
newsgroups(google groups) so far!
