sense has a full length on neo ouija called "view from a vulnerable place"
it's totally killer. you need to get it.
he's also got an ep on aural industries called "fourier transmissions"
there's a bit of overlap between this one and "view..." as neo ouija
licensed several tracks for that release.
it's also excellent and i'd recommend picking it up as well.
finally, the last thing i'm aware of is an ep called "melancholica" it was
a cdr release on neferiu records out of canada. pressing was limited to
100. i like it, but as you can tell, i'm a bit of a fan. it's more in the
ambient vein - somewhat like the tracks on the 10"
btw - the tracks on view and fourier run the gamut from nearly beatless to
rythmically complex, but the core of all sense's music, to me, is his
absolutely fantastic jaw dropping sense of melody. listen to "ear of the be
hearer" and see if you don't agree.
i don't know a thing about phonex, but their tracks on the 10" are really
good. i'm looking forward to hearing more from them. hopefully someone
else on this list knows what their deal is?
while i'm plugging sense, let me just say that if you find you like his
stuff, you should explore what i call the "aussie labels" more fully -
involve, surgery, and aural industries. they've all got a bunch of great
releases. pay particular attention to aspen. the "initial release" comp on
surgery is great too.
