Hello and welcome to another brief spam from your pals at the c74 record
label.
For your listening pleasure this month we have a new CD from San Francisco's
Kim Cascone, a man who's had his fingers in the experimental electronic pie
for more than 20 years. Kim's c74 release brings together the strands of
his ongoing work as a microsound composer and performer. It presents two
expansive slices of emergent pond life that will sound familiar to fans of
Kim's earlier "residualist" recordings and a peek at the densely packed
audioscapes of the "New Density" with the third track, Edgeboundaries 123.
Also included are two radically different reworkings of Edgeboundaries 123
by myself and DJ4'33". This is the first c74 release to include Max/MSP
patches and a standalone application on the CD that lets everyone experiment
with the tools we used to generate the remixes.
An interview with Kim can be found at the following link:

PS. Following closely on the heels of this release is another CD that we're
also very excited about: a superstar collaboration between Tetsu Inoue and
Carl Stone.
