i do know that freemasons have a history of hoarding all the rare BOC records. can't find those hundred copies of twoism or those random little tapes those guys did? ask the men in cloaks... but then, as someone mentioned before, they'd have to kill you. please please this is a serious matter, so let's try not to mix everything, please. Freemasons wouldn't mind, but one thing is certain BOC might kill you. I recall a pal connected to the Diskono label, outta Scotland, Glasgow - Edimburgh, who was working on a compilation documenting the electro scene of the area. He had the above-mentioned tapes, and asked BOC if he could include them on his compilation. They got mad and started to ask him where the hell he got that, and that if they ever heard of their circulating they would sue him. I can understand their not willing to let surface old music, but the reaction sounded a bit too much... Anyway, maybe they were frustrated because Freemasons did cast a spell on the tapes... philippe http://www.bip-hop.com Si-(cut).db "enthusiast" [bleep 07] "Enthusiast" is the 4th si-cut.db album, and another move forward for Benford's sound, following on naturally from the groundwork done by Tennis, his project with Ben Edwards (Benge). A major proportion of the sounds are samples of woodwork noises, different timbers, turning processes, shavings, planings, splintered pieces, contact mikes on veneered surfaces, acoustic instruments such as piano, fused with microsounds to create a rhythmic template between digital glitch and organic sources. Literally, different timbers and timbres; the grain on the wood becoming almost the grooves of a vinyl record, spiralling forward. The music speaks for itself.
