Great points, that's largely how I feel about him as well. I'm not aware of his social media presence or anything like that so the pretentiousness bothers me less.
I feel that he's doing great work with making really creature sounding synths (particularly on mutant) but the lack of composition really makes the whole album tiring and noisy. Sketches is a great way of putting it.
Anybody have suggestions of similar stuff that's a bit more developed?
