dear god... thats my exact problem, I had almost all of the NIN from PHM to
the fragile. Then I decided that it was inferior to the artists I started
listening to (afx autechre etc). But I cannot sell or otherwise remove it,
It has just too much vested interest from my youth (and considerable dollar
value)
His new stuff, post further down the spiral has all been a bit, well,
tedious and without a lot of the older vigour and interest. Not that there
weren't any good tracks on The Fragile, but they were not an advance from
the downward spiral. I was hoping that the Fragile would signal a move
toward the artists he was signing to Nothing (autechre plug etc) as I read
an interview where he said that "the new album will have a very
aphex-twinish feel". Ahh well, better luck next time.
