Evening Have listened to Visible Cloaks LP a few times. Pleasant, but sounds too much like that overrated James Ferraro LP Far Side Virtual to me. There are better electronic records around recently, but for some reason this one has been picked up by the indie press. Haven't seen either of these albums mentioned here. Their albums came out this year and last. Very slick stuff and got more press coverage than most IDM related stuff. MG is the dude White Williams who was on Tigerbeat6. Almost Blue Nile/David Sylvian vocal songs with pointillistic electronic embellishment. Visible Cloaks maybe more associated with the underground ambient tape world but this is very clean/clear sounding with some dsp clicks and cuttiness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtssjJk7ZbE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-UQjUpqDWQ
