The smoke wasn't so much a factor for me, but the place could've used a
little ventilation. Damn sweatbox.
For the show- Lex was super good. More up-tempo and scratchy, less
ambient/soft as the past few times I'd seen him. Maybe because he wanted to
"fit the bill" with Richard. Who knows. In any case, he was great.
Did anyone grab one of those dozen or so free 12"s he was flying out to the
crowd? What's on it?
Richard was pretty mind-blowing as well. His best song I thought was that
last one with the house-y feel to it.

And who was that jerk-off rookie who was leaning over the audience side of
Richard's computer, trying to get a look-see? Dude, have some respect.
The crowd overall was what you would expect from an ELM show- hootin' and
hollerin' and much dancing. Nice venue (and not at all hard to find if
you're familiar with the city whatsoever), nice sound system, 10 bucks is
reasonable. Didn't get a chance to check out the restaurant, perhaps next
time I'll be up for some sushi.
Another side-note about the crowd- LA has some GORGEOUS women and it seems
many of them are making it out to IDM shows. Awesome.
LA types be forwarned- Cex is on his way.
