Yea... we've all experienced at least a dozen threads about how much
the acronym IDM sucks, but I think using the word "experimental" in any
way to describe a genre is equally sucky. It seems to insinuate that
the process this music was created in was somehow haphazard and
aimless. Like these musicians just screwed around without a concept in
mind. I dunno.
