IDMers - share your insight: How, historically, did Orbital fit in with the Warp Records/IDM thing? In listening to Snivisation it doesn't seem to far away from the Artificial Intelligence comp or other stuff of that era. And pretty dope too with a nice electro feel. But I don't feel like they get much critical attention (or maybe retrospective assessment) I ended up hearing from through Insides which got played on alternative radio in The States in the mid/late 90s and they were part of the Prodigy/Underworld/Chemical Brothers package that made it to rock radio. Thoughts?
