All right, so Estrocaro is getting a bit short for me. I've gotten pretty
addicted to the lush tones and chopped-up flows, especially the cut-n-paste
MC bits that pop in and out, but I'm a little tired of having to flip the
record over every six minutes. Short of waiting for the next Prefuse/ other
Herren project, does anyone have any recomendations on anyone making
anything remotely similar with/in hip-hop? I'm aware of the Anti-con and
Rawkus labels, plus Madlib and the general aboveground rap, but otherwise
I'm a relative neophyte on the hip-hop tip, so one needn't be all that
obscure in the rec's (although recommending specific longplayers helps if
the artist has a large body of work out there). Any and all tip-offs much
appreciated.
Thanks,
M.
