hey all,
just thought you might be interested to know, my friend (who has that
year-long V/VM subscription thingie) just got hold of some of the April CDs
they were talking about in their April 1st mail-out. Despite the mail-out
date, looks like most of the items in there are real :)
So, the Help Aphex Twin 1.0/2.0 CDs _do_ exist - and are probably a
must-collect if you're an ultimate Aphex trainspotter, hah.
So, fortunately/unfortunately, does the Dr.Fred CD (about a famous UK doctor
+ mass-murderer, Dr. Harold Shipman). V/VM are skating even closer to the
bad taste ledge with this one (well, ok, they fell right over it), there's
hidden tracks in the mix, including 'Injected With A Poison' and the funeral
march. umm, yeah :) Surprised the UK tabloids haven't picked up on it. :P
Oh, and there's a CD with an audio tour of the Millenium Dome ("One Amazing
Day"), and the Alien Porno Midgets 3" CD, and the Guru Josh 7" :) Mm, Guru
Josh :) No sign of the "Snooker Loopy" release in snooker-ball colored vinyl
yet, but hopefully, it's coming :P
