So, if you're going down the path of Basinski and piano styled works, i
guess some ambient/neo-classical stuff needs to be mentioned as well as
some of my fav ambient albums that i list to when i need to work on various
projects.
Ben Woods - Moments and also Things Weren't Always This Way
Nymh (Ben Woods) - Realms of Detachment
Anything by Nils Frahm
Tu M' - Monochromes Vol. 1 (very Basinski)
Brian McBride - When the Detail Lost It's Freedom and also The Effective
Disconnect
A Winged Victory for the Sullen
Adam Bryanbaum Wiltzie - Travels in Constants
Anything by Stars of the Lid, especially Tired Sounds Of <-- I'd take this
as the perfect ambient album.
Manual - Confluence - Such a great ambient album!
Eno - Music for Airports
Eno - Ambient On Land
