While there's a fuck of a lot less to do in the Pomona/San Bernardino area
than there is in L.A., you also have the option of flying into Ontario
airport... that is Ontario, CA... which is just east of Claremont, Upland,
Pomona, etc. That will save you around an hour or so driving compared to
flying in to LAX. Ontario airport is a more expansive airport, i
think.. and cheaper too. Just a possible money saving tip.
