I'd like to echo the sentiment.
chris de luca ep is GREAT. It's like his funkstorung work but the tracks
are longer, less hip-hop ish and can develop more. it's way more phonem
like. I don't know the other 2 releases, but yeah the sluta leta is just
bad. maybe i will sell it with my skam aldus and elder(sp) ep as the when
good labels go bad with vocally stuff double pack.
The new PBO w. del, mr lif, and craze ep is okay. Unfortunately, true to
hip hop form, the mix is all about the vocals (which isn't necessarily
bad, but a different aesthetic than idm stuff). There are some nice
DSP-ness things in the background tho that are there for those with a
strong ear :)
The 12" has the radio, album, instrumental versions and an extra beatz
track, so really you're getting one song and some drum programming wankery
- nothing too good imo. all things aside, the single is nice, but not
worth buying doubles of :)
