This is a reminder to y'all that Ammo (aka John Sellekaers and C-Drik of
Xingu Hill, Dead Hollywood Stars, Ambre, etc) is playing live on Monday,
November 6th at the Cat Club in San Francisco. On hand as well will be dark
jungle and experimental-style DJing by Tree, Dryft (of Unit Records),
Aneuryzm, Form.Virus, Diagonal, and Basswhore. Plus a guns & ammo themed
artshow from 911Art and Atomick Industries.
This should be a great show. Ammo has just finished playing (as Xingu
Hill/Ammo) at Machinenfest in Germany, the SINfestival (as Dead Hollywood
Stars) and in NYC, Toronto, Ottawa, Pittsburgh, and Washington DC. Reports
from other shows suggests that the sound ranges from dark ambient to dense
drum & bass. This should appeal to latent Ant-Zen and C8 people.
