Yip : I was getting bored too, so I've gone back in time, rediscovering funky bluesy stuff - thus at the top of the pile is: Savoy Brown - Raw Sienna. Came out in '69 (yes, that's right!) and it's still is up there with the best. Lovely cover art too. Likewise Rare Earth and London Funk Allstars. Right... moving on: Terranova - Close the Door ('98, but I've only discovererd it now) Nils Petter Molvaer - Khmer w/ Remixes by Herbaliser, Rockers Hi Fi Tarwater - 11/6 12/10 and Rabbit Moon Lobe - Lobe (Ian Hartley's '96 album on Swim, Excellent!) Arovane - Tides (blissful) Quant - Quantastical Quantasm (still ploughing that funky groove) Swayzak - Himawari (summer's coming to South Africa soon) The Martian - Red Planet Compilation Bola - Soup (this one keeps on going - brilliant) I * np : Beck - Tropicalia --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
