Yeah, I think Madonna's always had a connection to sort of generic house and club culture, but I don't think she adopted "electronica" influences until "Ray Of Light". I'd say there's been an overt electronic influence on U2's stuff since '91's "Achtung Baby". And btw, Francois Kevorkian did a remix for U2 in '83. This is just nit-picking though. Does anyone else out there think the production on that (Bjork penned) Madonna song "Bedtime Stories" sounds A LOT like Basic Channel ?
