true. one of the interesting parts of making music is the music-maker's tastes coming out in the music. whenever i hear some really crappy general-midi dance-track, i always wonder "did the person making this actually think it was good?" it's sort of an odd situation, really, but some people hear autechre and just hear a jumble of noise.
