Napster is gaining revenue from a program that facilitates unlawful trade of copyrighted material (not direct revenue but revenue generated based on the principal idea of the program) Offspring is gaining revenue based on the same criteria although granted in a more direct way End result and copyright principal is exactly the same All this talk of musicians of the future needing to gain their revenue via touring and merchandising as music will be free with corporate underwriting...I mean hey if copyright is going out the window then fuck it, I'm going to start selling Coke shirts as a sideline. Get while the gettings good and all that. I think this is the most genius response to the whole thing yet. Flip the copyright hotseat around and see what happens. (note : my views, not my companies views as a whole. Just bored and spouting...). Jeff
