yah .. a large portion of the idm community distinguishes
themselves as elite members .. leaving it upto themselves to
seperate what is IDM and what is not .. granted obvious artists like
britney spears and so on are far from idm, if the music is weird
intentionally, let it be classified as idm. idm music as a whole is
offbeat and generally unclassifiable .. if some people think leftfield
is idm, let them .. but the second someone pulls norman cook into
the idm genre, then lets whip out the shotguns ..
