i've been really listening to klunko lately. i am into what he's doing (without humoring him). a review was posted very recently on klunko that i would like to elaborate on. i dont have it to post (i know you guys hate that, but i've deleted it and i really dont think it matters), nonetheless: the review made the possible assumption that klunko is just starting out. i can certainly hear this, but it is not at all a negative observation. the first bunch of tracks is usually a bit incoherent, but you certainly have the birth of something new and unheard at hand. when i first heard it, i thought it sounded a bit like cylob's lobster tracks with an experimental twist. i really like 'wires in the sun'.. i think that's the finishing product in the first stages of klunko's development. i love the atari-esque percussion. perhaps you do a bit of cut-and-paste? that's a huge part of my music also. i think that the "idea" of this song is made clear. i understand 'wires in the sun'. it's a very barren, fragmented, an inorganic mood. i look forward to hearing a fuller, more detailed and compositonal piece from klunko; using the same sort of sound and direction as these tracks. so how bout that remix project! im working on a 'wires in the sun remix now'. you did say that was okay right? =phluidbox --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
