Good news for those lamenting the moribund state of drum & bass:
Sm:)e is reissuing Klute's Casual Bodies in the US with a 4-track bonus EP,
incl. Photek's remix of "Silent Weapons" and Dom & Roland's remix of
"Perception." This is dark, rhythmically complex jungle
that should appeal to those into Virus, No U-Turn, Certificate 18 and
Metalheadz stuff. Anyone who samples 23 Skidoo's "Kundalini" and
Miles Davis' "Black Satin"--as Klute (aka Tom Withers) does here--
is okay by me (as long as he gets permission, right? ; ) ).
