Picked up a new Stewart Walker 12" last night -- I forget the label,
something about Tekfive maybe? Really lovely minimal techno, with the
expected Chain Reaction/Studio 1 overtones, but still having a quality all
its own. I think this is my favorite of all the Stewart Walker records I've
heard so far.
Kit Clayton's new 12" on Pole's Scape label is also great. Techno-dub in a
similar vein as his Mimic & the Model record, but a little tighter. Has
anyone heard his new full-length on Drop Beat? And is this available on
vinyl?
Finally, and in a totally different vein, anyone heard the new Kid Loco
2xLP?
