Among anybody who has truly cultivated their taste in music to a high
degree in this day and age, there is always a variety of Dada irony
lurking underneath the surface. Half the reason I find albums like
Plaid's Rest Proof Clockwork or MAT-101's Goodbye Mum is due to the
immense amount of bad kitsch and ridiculous pop-aping going on
throughout them. Finding occasional enjoyment in simple, dumb-as-bricks
music is a perfectly acceptable thing to do, even on this list. Weren't
we all just discussing Cookie Monster's wax discography?
