Okay, apologies to be made.
I guess i passed too much judgement on 4 hero based on my opinion that Two
Pages is pretty lame. But i've finally gotten around to listening to
Parallel Universe, and though it's not all that i want from a dnb album,
it's pretty damn good <snip>
4 Hero- Parallel Universe is a classic- an absolutely gorgeous album. No
where else have i heard hardcore/breakbeat/jungle meshed with deep house
vibes to such a stunningly beautiful effect. Well, on second thought hmm- i
guess A Guy Called Gerald comes close at times. Even Playing For The City is
good in this regard (based on just hearing two 12"s by them- anyone have a
discog for Playing?)
ive not heard 4heros- 2 pages, mainly due to the word of mouth that its
nothing like Parallel Universe/it sucks :(
Anyhow, I would love to check out any suggestions that mix this deep house
vibe with breakbeat jungle intricasy, ala Paralle Universe...!
