My thanks to Ryan from Love spirals Downwards for coming down last week
and exposing the secret cult of Mt. Lessdustinass. Be sure to tune in
tonight to hear the new Gearwhore Album, Drive. Also, Brian will teach
us the words and then lead a sing-along of his song "Space Disco For Fish
Tacos." Be afraid, be very afraid.
Wednesday, July 29th, 1998 8-10pm - Gearwhore debuts "Drive"
Gearwhore's Brian Natonski has chosen KUCI to make the world debut
his new Astralwerks album, "Drive." After moving to Orange County
a few years ago, he founded Fatal Data recordings, a label who's
released not only Gearwhore and Shaheen, but also released the
legendary Bassland 12" "Nine/Deeper" and Skylab2000's "Auburn"
single. Recently, he's been working on his own material, gaining
him a spot on Astralwerk's roster with the single Passion (a KUCI
white label classic) and now his first full-length release,
"Drive." Look for the rather un-electronic Gearwhore track "Space
Disco For Fish Tacos" on the forthcoming KUCI benefit CD
"Loraine."

A bit of Clarification:
KUCI Is a closed studio, which means we are not equipped to have an
audience, so please don't ask to come down. Exceptions have been few and
far between, but due to recent theft problems I will definitely not be
allowing people to come down for the show. Whereas nothing has been stolen
during my show, I intend to keep it that way.
In addition, I am not able to make copies of live performances for
listeners. I understand that people out of KUCI's signal want to get a
hold of some of the live performances that I have, but those performances
are the property of the artist and out of respect for them I cannot make
duplications. However, once the signal is released from our transmitter, I
have no control over listeners making duplications.
