i would go for "old codes, new chaos." it's a housier record and
contains some of the best material they've ever done: the sheriff,
brazilification and many others.
mess is very good but inconsistent compared the
track-after-banging-track-ness of old codes. there's also some neat
samples from taxi driver in there.
