Just finished listening to the new (?) Mouse on Mars EP "Cache Coeur Naif" for
the umpteenth time, and was pleasantly surprised. I've got their first LP but
never really dug it. But the new EP is much better, it's got the Stereolab
woman on vocals for three tracks, bubbly herky-jerky stuff made by a twin of
AFX born in Paris who grew up listening to lounge. Then the fourth and last
and best track is a too-short melodic goodie, all lush sunsets and crimson
skies and stars beginning to appear in the evening sky. (Or something like
that.)
So the question is, was the last album that I passed on (Iaora Tahiti?)
similar to this EP? Or more like the first album?

When 'Clerks' happened, I thought it would be a good idea to insure further
work by maintaining that it was the first part of a trilogy. It seemed to work
for George Lucas. // Kevin Smith
