Ditto. Here's how i found my joyrex's: I got 4 from modern music for
like 25 dollars or something, i got 5 from 4th world in that big auction
for 55 dollars and I got 9 at a record show in london for 5 pounds last
summer from some geezer who had some fucking amazing stuff. also got
from him ab3 on viynl for 5 pounds and the curve remix for 10. don't
worry, it all turns up eventually. Just practice the 3 P's of

Sounds like you guys are going to have to take him to small claims
court. However, not sure if this can be done if you're in a different
state. The people that do live in Texas, like Grant, may way want to
contact the local DA's office and see about filing a claim against him.
You'll have to appear in court of course, and given the other number of
people that have been ripped off i say you have a good chance of getting
at least some of the value of the disc, but don't expect to get
trainspotter value for your stuff. Mail Fraud is a federal crime but i
don't know if what he's done constitutes mail fraud. Basically its alot
of trouble and not really worth what you're going to get out of it. I
say chalk it up to experience and petition Alan to get him banned from
the list. If you are still interested in going forward with somekind of
legal action e-mail me and i'll have my girlfriend who is a law student
make some inquires and get you some advice.

Greg come on, get real. It's autechre. Of course if you make any kind of
limited promo of autechre stuff the spotters are going to want to get
their hands on it. It's cruel and unusual punishment to the people who
have been supporting autechre for years to press something up like this
and mail them off to jaded jurno's who could give a fuck and i'm sure
just toss them in a pile with the rest of the promo's. Please try to
sympathize with the little people for a moment. But if someone is
burning these and selling them for 20 dollars a pop thats a different
matter and of course i would object to that. This sounds like the
perfect kind of thing for warp-mart, should it even materialize.
