Hi, Splurged BIG today on quite a few a musical items, including: Urmur Bile Trax cd Port Rhombus Atomic Moog 2000/Boot the System/Natural Rhthym Orblivion Star Wars Boxed set of 4cds containing all the scores and unreleased scores. + a few more cds. Anyhow a few comments i'd like to make: The coldcut cd is great as usual, but the cdrom portion, ie, natural rhythm is phenomenal. The seemless integration of video with the music because the two were done in conjunction with each other is brilliant. I'm actually surprised this hasn't been done more often before. I can remember seeing Amiga demos that had all the coded effects timed to the music which made them so much better, imho. A big up to the coldcut boys and ninjatunes. Urmur Bile Trax: I was expecting this to be a lot worse than what it actually is due to all the shite going around on this list about it. It's much better than the Port Rhombus ep by Squarepusher (who's full-length is brilliant!), imho. I was also expecting this to be a full on drill 'n' bass release, due to list heresay.. it's far from it. Oh well the rest will get reviewed sometime later. Though..

I think that it's a nice companion, all be it a lot more jungly in places to his earlier work, and considering that it's basically remixes of earlier tracks it's not surprising. I quite enjoy listening to it, but will it stand the test of time... maybe not. Though only time will tell. I'm glad I brought it though. I'm off to hear the Orb.. :) Regards, John
