It's this string quartet Balanescu quartet (have also done songs with bjork for example) doing four (or five) cover versions of classical kraftwerk songs. quite interesting, and very proffesional. merely sting instruments are used, even when trying to imitate such sounds as the doorslam in the beggining of autobahn. it'd say this is an ep for the hardcore fans of kraftwerk, since you really have to appreciate the originals, and know em, to appreciate this item. but if you do, i'd say go for it. Mute in Europe, Elektra elsewhere i guess. Cheers, franz.
