I remember someone posting about the beats on RDJ with a similar criticsm;
I think some of these _less expensive_ keyboards are capable of some lovely
noises (especially when put through effects :D)
I just hope IDM doesn't go the way of a lot of other dance music where everyone
uses the same (trendy?) percussion/analogue keyboard sounds
One of the main things I like about the music on this list is the variety
of noises used, almost as a feature separate from the structure of the tunes/
melodies.
