Waiting for the Cardigans to appear on Conan, I flipped to MTV and... on
Alternative Nation... the Chemical Brothers are being interviewed by
Kennedy... next to a teppanyaki table with a chef busily flipping and frying
shrimp and scallops.
It was just amusing to look at, and the interview was just terrible. Kennedy
was asking her random questions ("So are you guys from Wolverhampton?") and
the bros barely said a word or two, looking quite bemused themselves. Lots of
dead silences. Maybe they'll start saying "techno types don't do good
interviews".
