comments on the above tracks. zeiss contarex : this track is truly remarkable. it somehow evolves from a very inhuman mechanical and dark soundscape to a lush beautiful one. the one underlying sound is worked through and through until finally it's a gorgeous melody... hard to talk about it without the audio aid. anyway, much to be heard here..! netlon sentinel psychedelic as hell. initiates every neuron firing base in my brain. it could sound like the rhythm's caught in a huge fan overlooking neo tokyo. relics of the noise-laden chiastic slide ... could be the acceptance anthem of the apocalypse.... or the welcome anthem of alien beings. intensely visual nonetheless too many ways to establish that autechre hold the keys to the future of music. -----Original Message----- From: Mark <mef@ecst.csuchico.edu> To: idm@hyperreal.org <idm@hyperreal.org> Date: Wednesday, February 16, 2000 3:06 AM Subject: (idm) Chiastic Slide: Easily one of IDM's best.
