Way back in the day the band Weather Report recorded a track called "The Boogie Woogie Waltz" that had a similar feel to DACC's track. DACC may have heard this but his track is by no means derivative. When I hear N.Am.Skywave I think back to that track. But then also, Weather Report never had that 'squeeking basketball' sound on their stuff. The Tempest track is pretty great too. That's the stuff I heard pre-release, waiting for my copy from alan (the checkz in the mail d00d!). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Every revolution evaporates and leaves behind only the slime of a new beauracracy -- Franz Kafka Kent Williams kent@inav.net (319) 338 6053 (home) (319) 626 6700 x 219 (work) (319) 626 3489 (fax)
