A little late with the review...
I saw Autechre live in Manchester last week, unfortunately only as
support to Zion Train. This meant a truncated (30-40 minute set)
but it was all high quality stuff, mostly their harder-edged, more
rhythmically-driven side. A few voguish electro nods as well.
As far as I could tell, it was all new (although I have unaccountably
not bought the Anti EP yet, so there might have been something from
that).
This is the fourth time I have seen them and they haven't
disappointed yet.
Maybe some of these tracks will surface on another SKAM release since
there is no indication of further impending WARP releases?
Well, it's a nice thought.
