I think both tracks are amazing! (As is the rest of the album). It IS just a collection of single tracks. RDJ's range in style is impressive, to me at least.

I don't think the string selections were sampled. In tracks like 'The Waxenpith' or 'Icct Hedral'(another personal favorite), perhaps the single instruments (or collected instruments) were sampled, but not the "melody". And, I'm sure the samples themselves have gone through some type of processing. I don't think RDJ could ever just sample something straigt without altering or filtering it in some way.
