"Platinum on Black" is definitely not IDM in the normal sense! It's a continuous mix of housed-up mostly mainstream dance music. In spite of this, I like it. "TB Resuscitation" is by Hardfloor, not the other way round. I'm a huge Hardfloor fan so of course I'd recommend it. Hardfloor do hardcore techno for house music lovers; the sounds are fairly warped acid, quite dry, but the beats are only moderately fast, very percussive in an intelligent but highly intense way (I personally prefer this style to the intelligent but non-intense style of most Warp-type stuff) and have quite a strong housey feel. Orbital's "Diversions" is great, of course. It's probably my favorite Orbital disc (gasp!) Excursions in Ambience is on Caroline, not Moonshine, and is quite good.
