I got the 2CD version, and most of disc 2 is more ambient, if you can call any of R. Kirk's ambient. Does anyone know how this got to be released on Beyond. Doesn't sound dubby/spacy enough :) Mohsen

I just received the Kirk box set on Beyond Records. Here are some details. Electronic Eye : Closed Circuit Side 1: Bush Channel Stepper Side 2: Freak of Nature Electronic Sight Side 3: Painted People Datacrime Side 4: Fourth World Destination Ciruitry Man Side 5: Aquamarine Sheen Side 6: Pacification of Nation States Side 7: Counter Insurgent Cloud Chamber Dub Side 8: Go Back Nations Fade Sparse but nice packaging. Four LPs in a real box. I'm playing the 1st cut and if you are familiar with CV and Kirk's recent work, it is somewhat similar. 'Found sampled voices,' add a 808 beat box with a pinch of sampled percussion bits and the odd electronic noize thrown in the stew - yummy. If anyone is interested I could follow up with this. richard bleep...bleep...transmat@teleport.com

Hi Richard- Anything more to say on the set, now that you've had it for a while. I have CV last three, as well as the SandoZ release, but I havn't seen or heard this set you've found.... Still curious- Thad
